CRE8 3-YEAR IMMERSION PROGRAM
CRE8 is designed to challenge students to become creative problem solvers who, through outstanding leadership, perseverance, and self-awareness build community and a vision for a positive future.
WHO IS Cre8 for?
CRE8 is for 10 -11 year olds who think of themselves as enthusiastic, committed, and creative. Curious kids who like to make stuff with their hands and explore their many interests. It’s for someone who isn’t afraid of a challenge. CRE8 is for students who feel READY to stretch their limits and get involved!*
*You must have taken one class at Coyote.
3 tuition-free courses each year for three years
1 creative meeting per month with a community they feel they belong to (3rd Mondays)
the chance to design and create a final project in any medium to share at a community showcase
one swag item each year (backpack, t-shirt, water bottle etc.)
entrance to 3 professional art happenings in the greater Seattle community (1 field trip per quarter)
(ex. professional dance performance, SAM private tour, tour local artist studio, go to a local play etc)
opportunities to represent Coyote as ambassadors at school and special events
opportunities to volunteer in a variety of ways for Coyote at special events and occasions
leadership opportunities to become mentors as they graduate from Coyote and enter high School
THE CRE8 COMMITMENT
CRE8 is a big commitment, but a fun one! A CRE8 kid has:
thoroughly considered and is ready to take on a 3-year program.
commits to attending once monthly meetings regularly (we know you might miss one here and there)
commits to signing up for and attending three Coyote classes per/year with great attendance.
commits to volunteer at one event per year.
both student and family agree to have OUTSTANDING communication with the Coyote staff!

What is the application process like?
Submit your application by March 29th. We will contact a select group of students to schedule an informal interview with bryn or Marybeth beginning April 6th. Once interviews have been completed we will notify everyone (end of April). If you are selected, you will have 1 week to accept your invitation, otherwise we will extend the offer to our alternates! Cohort 4 will have their first meeting in the beginning of May.
