 COVID-19 REQUIREMENTS
Updated February 9, 2024

MITIGATION STRATEGIES

Vaccinations: Students, staff, and teaching artists are no longer required to provide proof of vaccination.

Masks: Masks are optional unless specifically requested by a student or teaching artist. In the event that masking is requested for a specific class, those students will receive an email no later than three days prior to the class start date. We may also require masking in the event of exposure.

If our optional mask policy presents a direct risk to your family, please reach out to info@coyotecentral.org.

Ventilation: To the extent possible, windows/doors will remain open during classes. HEPA air filters and/or ventilation fans are available for each classroom.

When is the infectious period?

The infectious period of someone with COVID starts two days before the onset of symptoms, or is estimated as two days before the positive test collection date if someone with COVID is asymptomatic.

What does it mean to isolate?

Isolation means you stay home and away from others (including household members) for the recommended period of time (see above) to avoid spreading illness. Isolation is for those who have tested positive for COVID-19, or who have symptoms of COVID-19, or who are awaiting test results.
