Art Extravaganza: Engagement Nights
This year’s Art Extravaganza is designed for the whole family. Get your creative juices flowing Wednesday - Friday with three nights of creative challenges across dance, music, and visual art. Each night, you will get the chance to create art and share it with your fellow attendees.
November 13 [FRIDAY] @ 7PM
Music for the Soul
Many of us have turned to art, oftentimes to music, to cope and relax in the face of adversity or when we’re in a funk. Coyote artists, Otieno Terry (he/him) and Erica Merritt (she/her), will be joining us to perform their original songs!
Our challenge for you: Submit a song that summarizes how you are feeling right now. Let it represent how you are feeling in quarantine, in the current political climate, in relation to social justice, etc. Tell us the song’s significance and/or what it means to you.
Once you’ve come up with a song, upload it to Padlet by following the steps below.
Look up your song from your preferred streaming platform (Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, etc)
Copy + paste the link into Padlet
Give it a title and add in the description the song’s significance and/or what it means to you
Like and comment on each other’s posts!
