Coyote Central is currently seeking Fall Quarter Teaching Artists and Studio Assistants!
Job opportunity
Coyote Central is always looking for Teaching Artists who are interested in developing 20-hour courses that teach creative skills to Young Creatives aged 10-15. These project-based-courses challenge youth to problem solve, discover, think independently, and work collaboratively. Their course results in thoughtfully designed final projects that students showcase and take home. Coyote Teaching Artists value and incorporate the principles of equity, collaboration, social emotional awareness, and community building into each session.
We are presently looking for Teaching Artists in the following mediums:
Culinary Arts
Woodworking
Welding/Metal Arts
Digital Media
Mixed Media
Performance
We define Teaching Artists as Contractors who specialize in teaching, and identify as emerging or professional in creative fields such as, but not limited to, Visual Arts, Literary Arts, Architecture, Cooking/Baking, Engineering, Media Arts, Performing Arts, Computer Science, and more.
