VIRTUAL COYOTE

VIRTUAL COYOTE

A CREATIVE RESOURCE FOR FAMILIES.

VIRTUAL COYOTE

Here at Coyote Central, we love to think outside of the box! During lockdown, we challenged ourselves to find new ways to engage from home. We invite you to come along for the ride…

And don’t forget to share your experiences with us!

We want to see YOUR CREATIVITY IN ACTION! Send photos, completed (or not completed!) projects, or anything else that seems relevant to info@coyotecentral.org

Publish Your Own Zine [WRITING/MIXED MEDIA]

Magazines, or their smaller, self-published counterparts, commonly known as a “zine” are everywhere! Why not get creative and start your OWN zine! You can publish your own content or recruit your friends and family to contribute. This is a great project to tackle while we’re practicing social distancing!

There are zines covering just about everything — the theme (or lack there of) can be totally up to you! There are comic zines, poetry zines, art zines, personal zines, music zines, animal zines — all ideas go!

Making your zine is all about self-expression and creativity. You need very little except some fun ideas, inspiration, a creative spark, and a few art supplies. It can be as simple or as complex as you want it to be!

MINIMUM SUPPLIES:

  • Paper

  • Writing utensil(s)

  • Scissors

FUN EXTRA STUFF IF YOU HAVE IT LYING AROUND:

  • Glue stick

  • Colored pens, pencils, crayons, paints

  • Rubber stamps

  • Stickers

  • String/yarn/ribbon

  • Old magazines for collage

  • Typewriter

  • The sky is the limit!
