VIRTUAL COYOTE

A CREATIVE RESOURCE FOR FAMILIES.

VIRTUAL COYOTE

Here at Coyote Central, we love to think outside of the box! During lockdown, we challenged ourselves to find new ways to engage from home. We invite you to come along for the ride…

And don’t forget to share your experiences with us!

We want to see YOUR CREATIVITY IN ACTION! Send photos, completed (or not completed!) projects, or anything else that seems relevant to info@coyotecentral.org

How to watercolor bamboo!

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

  • Black watercolor

  • medium sized paint brush

  • watercolor paper

HOW TO DO IT:

  1. Start with strokes sections going vertical, and at different angles, across the page.

  2. Paint small strokes horizontally in between each section with more pigment.

  3. Paint very thin lines going in curves coming out from each small stroke you just painted. This is where the leaves will come out from.

  4. Paint the leaves! Do this with quick small strokes and medium amount of pigment. The leaves can vary in pigment, curve and shape.

  5. Now you have your bamboo!
