VIRTUAL COYOTE

VIRTUAL COYOTE

A CREATIVE RESOURCE FOR FAMILIES.

VIRTUAL COYOTE

Here at Coyote Central, we love to think outside of the box! During lockdown, we challenged ourselves to find new ways to engage from home. We invite you to come along for the ride…

And don’t forget to share your experiences with us!

We want to see YOUR CREATIVITY IN ACTION! Send photos, completed (or not completed!) projects, or anything else that seems relevant to info@coyotecentral.org

DIY Face Mask (No Sewing Required!)

Try this no-sew mask with Youth Advisory Board Member, Jadey Ong!

What you’ll need:

  • 1 bandana (or piece of fabric)

  • 2 hair elastics (or rubber bands)

Step 1:

  • Fold the bottom edge of the bandana about halfway up and do the same to the top of the bandana.

Step 2:

  • After making those two creases, fold them both inward one more time so they create two panels meeting in the middle.

Step 3:

  • Put hair elastics around each end about one third of the way in.

Step 4:

  • Take the two tail ends and flip them inwards, tucking them inside the pocket made from the panels.

Step 5:

  • Pull the elastics to make sure everything is secure and feel free to add a dot of glue to make everything a bit stronger.

Result!

  • Flip the mask over and tuck the elastics behind your ears like so!
