DIY Face Mask (No Sewing Required!)
Try this no-sew mask with Youth Advisory Board Member, Jadey Ong!
What you’ll need:
1 bandana (or piece of fabric)
2 hair elastics (or rubber bands)
Step 1:
Fold the bottom edge of the bandana about halfway up and do the same to the top of the bandana.
Step 2:
After making those two creases, fold them both inward one more time so they create two panels meeting in the middle.
Step 3:
Put hair elastics around each end about one third of the way in.
Step 4:
Take the two tail ends and flip them inwards, tucking them inside the pocket made from the panels.
Step 5:
Pull the elastics to make sure everything is secure and feel free to add a dot of glue to make everything a bit stronger.
Result!
Flip the mask over and tuck the elastics behind your ears like so!
