STUDIO COYOTE COURSES

Studio Coyote is built for 10-15-year-olds and runs year-round, following Seattle Public Schools’ schedule. During the Winter, Spring, and Fall, you’ll find an abundance of 21-hour weekend sessions as well as 20-hour weeklong sessions over breaks. Summer is packed full of weekly 20-hour courses and runs from July - August.

SPRING QUARTER

Our Spring schedule will be posted for viewing on March 1st.

Registration will go live March 4th at 6pm.


SUMMER QUARTER

Please limit registrations to no more than 10 courses per youth.

Courses will be added and/or modified over the following weeks, so be sure to stay updated via our mailing list.

All courses will be held at our location in the Central District at 2300 E Cherry St, Seattle, WA 98122.


REFUND POLICY:

FOR SUMMER: At the time of registration, 25% of your tuition fees become nonrefundable. No refunds will be available for cancellations made after June 1st.

FOR FALL, WINTER, & SPRING: At the time of registration, 25% of your tuition fees become nonrefundable. No refunds will be available for cancellations made within a week of the class start date.

PAYMENT/REGISTRATION UPDATES:

A card is now required to complete checkout. If this presents a barrier, please use the $0 checkout option to complete your registration and email info@coyotecentral.org to arrange a plan to pay in cash or check.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • Need to review your schedule, update your account, or make a payment? You can do so by accessing your Active.net account. Please be sure to only create ONE account for your family! Multiple accounts cannot be deleted.

    SIGN IN TO YOUR ACCOUNT

  • Studio Coyote courses are suitable for 10-15 year olds. There are exceptions. For questions specific to your youth, please reach out to the Engagement Manager at central@coyotecentral.org.

  • 25% of your tuition fees are nonrefundable. For Fall, Winter, and Spring, no refunds will be available for cancellations made within a week of the class start date. For Summer, no refunds will be available for cancellations made after June 1st. In the off chance Coyote Central has to cancel a class, you will receive a full refund.

  • You can see our updated in-person requirements here.

  • Youth participating in both morning and afternoon courses for Studio Coyote are welcome to hang out here between each class. Also be sure to bring a lunch, as youth will not be allowed to leave the site without a parent/guardian.

    During Summer - Please be sure to triple check location, as some courses are offsite.

  • All youth are required to stay onsite until their final class is complete. Please send your youth with appropriate snacks and gear to last them the full length of their Studio Coyote day. This also applies to offsite programming.

  • Coyote Central isn’t able to provide transportation. You are responsible for transporting your youth to offsite courses. If you are interested in carpooling opportunities, email: central@coyotecentral.org.

  • Coyote Central isn’t able to provide before or after care. Please be on time for drop off and pickup. Any youth not picked up by the time the last staff member leaves will be escorted to the nearby community center or library to wait.

  • You’ll receive an email the week prior to the start of the course with class-specific details.

  • Attendance is critical in Studio Coyote courses, since each day builds upon the previous in order to complete a final project. Regular attendance is required. If you miss two sessions, you're at risk of being dropped from the class. Coyote Central does not offer makeup sessions and is not responsible for incomplete projects due to poor attendance. Please be sure to be here for every session to make the most of your time at Coyote Central!

  • If a course is full, you’re welcome (and encouraged) to join the waitlist! All courses and their waitlists are first come, first served. We cannot overfill courses as each is capped due to safety and class quality considerations. There is no charge for joining the waitlist, but you must follow the standard registration process. If a position opens up, we will contact you and you’ll be given 24 hours to accept the position.

  • All classes are suitable for both beginning and returning youth. All experience levels welcome!

  • While the majority take place at our building in the Central District, we do utilize professional studios around the area for specific courses. Please pay close attention to location when registering!
